What Foods to Eat for Muscle Gain | Bodybuilding Foods

So if you want to build your muscles and develop a strong physique you must have to eat the right kind of bodybuilding foods. Generally, the best bodybuilding meals consist of 40% proteins, 40% carbohydrates and 20% fats. Meals with these kinds of ratios are absolutely essential to keep your body in good growth state.

Daily Caloric Intake
Actually without enough fuel your body can not grow. The general formula for daily calories is (18) x (your current bodyweight) in order to build your muscle. There is no set rule as this is merely a starting point that can be later adjusted to suit your needs of bulking. Your total calories should be broken down throughout the day with 6-8 meals in order to eliminate excess fat storage and keep that metabolism working.

Carbohydrates

This should make up 40% -45% of your bodybuilding diet obtain quality carbohydrates with foods like oatmeal, pasta, whole grain breads and potatoes.

Proteins
Proteins play a huge role in the growth and repair of muscle tissues and so they should be the staple of your diet. Research has shown me that the amino acid profiles contained in proteins are the building blocks of the human body’s cells. In other words more protein = more gains. Try to consume about 1 to 2 grams of protein each day for muscle gain. The best sources of protein for bodybuilding include- casein protein, whey protein, chicken, tuna, turkey, eggs, lean beef and cottage cheese.

Fats
The most common misconception in dieting of any kind is to eliminate fats completely. This could not be farther from the truth as dietary fat plays a main key role in hormone production which is responsible for strength increases. Great sources of fats come from avocados and cold pressed oils. Definitely you must need those kinds of things your muscle gain.
